Charlotte Smith paints primarily in soft pastels and acrylics.  She has a B.S. degree in secondary education from LSU along with art instruction from Della Pigoet of Sulphur, Trina Tringale of Woburn, MA, Mercer County Community College in Trenton, NJ, Art Institute of Boston , Betty Schell of Beaumont, TX, and Dorothy Smith of Sulphur.  She especially enjoys painting figures and portraits.
